Munduk
This little-known mountainous area is situated in the north of the island, and this is the ideal place to escape the humidity that the coastal areas are known for. Negara
On the southwestern side of the island sits the town of Negara, which is surrounded by abundant paddy fields, which make for a great spot for some relaxation. Amed
Located on the northeast coast, the pristine beaches are empty when compared to the southern beaches, and the snorkelling alone makes this a worthwhile trip. Here you can experience farming life, as this area is not known by the average tourist, and you can see how the Balinese farmers live their simple lives.
Penglipuran Village
Without a doubt one of the most picturesque villages on the island, Penglipuran Village is lined with traditional Balinese homes, and by visiting, you can see how the locals live. Bamboo forests and lush coffee plantations make for the perfect backdrop, and you can sample some of the traditional Balinese deserts, which are absolutely delicious.

You can see the dolphins that frequent this stretch of coastline, and sip a delicious cocktail in great surroundings, and whatever the time of day, the dolphins are usually present in numbers.
