Skiathos is a Greek island of unspoiled beauty. Its many golden sand beaches are some of the best I have encountered. The crystal clear waters are teeming with fish, making it a snorkeler's paradise. For the more active, there are a variety of water sports to indulge in.
Unleash the explore inside of you and embark on one of the islands many hidden walks to be had in the lush forests and hills. If you wish to visit secluded coves and remote beaches, there are an array of boats just waiting to take you on a cruise, from catamaran to luxury yacht. These are located in the town's bustling harbour.
Skiathos Town has something for everyone, from boutiques to crafts shops, with locally made goods. There's an abundance of food and drink, to suit all tastes, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Above all, Skiathos should be remembered for its warm and welcoming people.
