5 reasons why I love culottes
- They are so comfortable
Really, wearing these trousers feels like I'm walking around in my pyjamas all day, which is basically my dream.
- They make me feel a little Katharine Hepburn
I think they kind of have a little bit of that 1930s charm, and look like the slacks Katharine Hepburn was so famous for wearing.
- Is it a skirt or trousers? Who can tell?
With these in particular, I love the fact that the leg is so wide that you can't tell at first glance if they are a skirt or trousers.
- They hide your thighs
I'm not a massive fan of wearing skinny jeans because I'm not a hundred per cent confident with showing my thighs but these glide nicely over that area.
- They have the perfect smart-casual vibe
I like to save the leggings for the gym or the golf course because I think they look a bit too causal. On the other hand, these trousers feel comfortable but look a little more sophisticated.
I'd also like to add that I love these particular culottes because of the velvet material that feels so soft against my skin.
