Travel: Summer dress lookbook in Burano, Italy

A pop of colour

"If you enjoy bright colours, then this is the perfect place and post for you, Rosa Fairfield."

I had no idea that Burano existed, when I travelled to Venice, because it wasn't in any of my guide-books. I found out about it on Pinterest, when I was searching for fun things to do whilst there.

It was by far my favourite place because it's a little otherworldly, something out of the norm. Also, because of all the bright colours, it lifts your mood.

I felt strangely glamorous wearing this dress - which was odd because it looks fairly casual. Maybe it was just the combination of the whole outfit together? I felt like a grand, middle-age European lady.

It was funny,  I would just wander around, looking at the houses in awe, and then I would catch some random person taking a photograph of me. It made me feel a little self-consious, like I wandered why on earth they were doing it.

Anyway... YOU MUST GO TO BURANO IF YOU VISIT VENICE!

You can get there via the main water-bus. It costs 21 euros for a day ticket and takes around 50 minutes to get there.
